Brian J. McDaniel was born in Denver, Colorado on March 31, 1988, to Max and Kaylene McDaniel. He attended and graduated from West Harrison Community School, class of 2006.

Following high school, Brian joined the Army in 2007, and was stationed at Fort Riley, KS. He was subsequently deployed to Korea, Iraq, and Kuwait, and served 14 years on active duty.

Brian married his middle school sweetheart, Katie, on October 19, 2007, in Pisgah, IA. They had two children: a son, Peyton McDaniel, age 15; a daughter, Bailey McDaniel, age 13. Other family includes two sisters, Kristen McDaniel (Matt Neilsen) and Kara (Brent) Frizzell, as well as many extended family members and friends.

Brian’s hobbies included fishing, boating, swimming, baseball, and basketball.

He LOVED his family and was also very active in his community and coached his children’s sports teams.

Brian passed away on October 27, 2019. He was loved by many.
